In early 1970s, “Spectroscopic Accessories Company” was formed to serve the market of sample handling devices. The range of products grew quickly and soon provided infrared accessories, optical components and mounts. The name “SPECAC” originated from “Spectroscopic Accessories Company” was then used. In 1990, the company was developed to be a leading edge FTIR sample handling accessory manufacturer.
