Product Specification

The CellSafe-12/30/60 design uses a combination of specialise material, radial symmetry and a heat transfer core to regulate heat loss. Through a bottom intake port, the unique micro-convection design draws in cold air from the freezer, evenly distributing it around all the vials, while releasing warm air through the top port. The isolative outer housing and thermo-conductive core ensure consistent heat removal to all vials throughout the freezing period. Cooling agents such as alcohol or isopropyl are not necessary.

CellSafe-12/30/60 will not cause a rise in the freezer temperature and will also not affect other samples already stored in the freezer The Low thermal mass CellSafe-12/30/60 container ensures thawing to ambient temperature at a controlled rate. The vials are easily accessible and can quickly be removed and placed in dry ice, or liquid nitrogen.

All CellSafe containers are unbreakable, open easily when frozen, and are not cold to the touch when frozen.

CellSafe 12 :  12x1.0ml or 12 x 2.0ml  Microtubes
CellSafe 30 :  30x1.0ml or 30 x 2.0ml  Microtubes
CellSafe 60 :  60x1.0ml or 60 x 2.0ml  Microtubes

How to use

The chambers and cryovials should be dry to prevent tubes sticking after freezing.
The core should be at room temperature and seated in the bottom of the central cavity.
Place sample vials containing 1ml of sample in each well. Check that the tubes slide in and out freely. Place the lid on the base and make sure it is firmly closed.
Place CellSafe upright into a -80 degree C freezer, or in a dry ice container. CellSafe will need to remain in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
Freeze for 4 hours before transferring the samples to long-term storage.
After use, disassemble and remove the moisture of the CellSafe
